ENGIE Rassembleurs d'Energies supports the start-up Enerpro Biogaz, a specialist in decentralized methanation

ENGIE Energy Gatherersfinalized a seed investment in the French start-upEnerpro Biogasto support it in its development.

Enerpro Biogaz is a French company whose core business is the design, supply and distribution of modular and decentralized anaerobic digestion systems for small and medium-sized farms and small agri-food industries.

Thanks to its solutions, Enerpro biogaz allows its customers to treat and recover different types of waste on site (manure, slurry, etc.) independently viacompact biogas units  who provide the production of biomethane and its recovery via individual cogeneration (electricity self-consumed or injected into the network and heat production).

The units are designed so that the farmer can finance the installation, operate it himself and generate significant additional income, with a doubling of the farmer's income via the contribution of the equivalent of an additional minimum wage.

Enerpro's solutions enable customers to reduce their environmental footprint  primarily by recovering waste that emits greenhouse gases without resorting to significant transport of materials  and by producing organic fertilizers which replace chemical fertilizers.

Finally, Enerpro Biogaz offers an innovative solution for treating agri-food effluents such as wastewater from breweries and whey from the methanation process. These solutions make it possible to purify effluents directly on site, even to recycle part of the treated water and reuse it for non-critical uses.

Enerpro Biogaz aims to create 12 jobs over the next two years.

For RDE, this is the  first investment in the renewable gas and methanisation sector in France.

Some examples of impacts:

  • For the EnerSilo 40KW solution: production of 328,000 electrical kWh injected into the network, 225 t eq CO2 avoided per year

  • For the EnerKub solution (Brasserie Nao client): 43,000 m3 of wastewater treated per year with the objective of recycling and reusing 50% of the volume

  • EnerSilo solution (GAEC Ormeau)

TEEBIKE_080.jpg

ENGIE Rassembleurs d'Energies supports the start-up TEEBIKE, a player in sustainable mobility combining circular economy and inclusion.

ENGIE Rassembleurs d'Energies is pleased to announce the completion of a seed investment in the French start-up TEEBIKE. This is the fund's first investment in the theme of sustainable mobility. Rassembleurs d'Energies will support TEEBIKE in its development and growth in France and Europe to participate in the dissemination of this model of green and inclusive mobility.

TEEBIKE offers the first electric, connected and universal front wheel that electrifies the bike you've always loved. With its electrified wheel solution, Teebike combines a product that is easy to install , without the need for a professional, and rooted in a logic of circular economy, everyone can reuse their bike and transform it reversibly into an electric bike.

It is therefore a second electric life that is made possible for the bike you have always loved, by generating less CO2 and less waste .

TEEBIKE is also active in the reconditioning of bicycles, while promoting integration . Indeed, the company recovers bicycles intended for the recycling center and reconditions them after having trained people in integration within the framework of a partnership with the Apprentis d'Auteuil.

Through this partnership with the Apprentis d'Auteuil, a hundred integration jobs will be created by the end of 2024.

This project thus combines strong environmental and social impacts :

  • Environmental impact: gain of 100kg of CO2 between the Teebike solution and the impact of the production of an electric bike

  • Impact on waste limitation: 20kg of waste recycled per Teebike wheel (average weight of bikes recovered)

  • Social impact: creation of 9 jobs including 8 in integration by reconditioning workshop

Engie Rassembleurs d'Energies is pleased to announce its second seed investment in
Cyclo Power Factory . This start-up created in 2017 has set itself the mission of creating a community of eco-athletes against climate change and fuel poverty. The technology, embedded in cardio training equipment, transforms sporting effort into green electricity which is then reinjected into the network. The sporting experience becomes fun and serves to raise awareness of energy sobriety and eco-gestures. A percentage of the income is donated to associations fighting against fuel poverty. The solution can be deployed at events, in gyms or schools. Thanks to its ethical remuneration, its limited lucrativeness of capital and its democratic governance, Cyclo Power Factory aims to obtain ESUS approval by mid-2022.
